Hello! Out of all the sites out there, I feel so grateful that you chose to peek in on my little corner of the web! My name is Maren Parker, the face behind The Collected Haven. I’m married to my best friend, and we have two little boys who are full of life! We live in a charming town nestled in the mountains of Northern Arizona. My husband is a Worship Pastor, and I get to stay home with the boys while running this blog and Etsy business on the side. Living life with them is one of the most beautiful things on this side of heaven.

Some of my favorite things include: coffee, Christmas movies, Target dollar spot, photography, and all things decor. I’ve always loved creating. In fact, when I was asked what I wanted to be in 5th grade I answered, “Martha Stewart” Haha! I’m not sure how many other 5th graders had that answer, but creativity has always been something that intrigued me- even at a young age (and before Pinterestland😉)

Somewhere in between getting married, styling events/ parties, having kids- my passion for decor, hospitality and creative living grew deeper. For years, I’ve felt the Lord stirring in my heart to start this blog, but something got in the way–fear, comparison, and insecurity. There came a day when I was tired of giving myself excuses, and just took a leap of faith to live out this dream. Being vulnerable is incredibly difficult- but I believe that’s when life change happens. So here I am, taking the first big step in this journey. I’m so honored to have you by my side.
